If we even try to take a very small step to reduce emissions, eventually enough people will take a small step and that’s going to make an impact that’s going to have a difference.

About Emma

  • I’ve loved planes since I was a child.
  • Growing up, I kept that passion for planes and knew that’s what I wanted to pursue as a career.
  • I earned my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and my master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Utah State University.
  • After graduating, I got a job as a flight test engineer at Sikorsky, where I worked for about four years.
  • I knew I wanted to be more in the forefront of aviation, so I started doing research and found Beta Technologies, which was focused on creating all-electric aircrafts.
  • After visiting Beta Technologies, I jumped at the opportunity to join the team as a flight test engineer.
