My path in life has been direct

I’ve loved planes since I was a child.

Growing up, I kept that passion for planes and knew that’s what I wanted to pursue as a career.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and my master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Utah State University.
4.
After graduating, I got a job as a flight test engineer at Sikorsky, where I worked for about four years.
5.
I knew I wanted to be more in the forefront of aviation, so I started doing research and found Beta Technologies, which was focused on creating all-electric aircrafts.
6.
After visiting Beta Technologies, I jumped at the opportunity to join the team as a flight test engineer.

I've often been the only female engineer in the room, which led to struggling with imposter syndrome. I've just had to learn that you're going to make mistakes and that's expected. It doesn't mean you shouldn't be there.
