How I responded:
You would be surprised how much you can accomplish if you work hard and build up your team members. Working in local government is often difficult because of the "red tape" and public scrutiny. However, when you do good work on behalf of your community, it is incredibly rewarding.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
All of my schooling has been self-funded. I don't come from money so I chose to bare the burden of student loans and working multiple jobs during college. You can make it through school without relying on anyone else.
