You'll get nowhere in life if you do that, be more useful of yourself instead of being something so useless.
How I responded:
I told myself not to listen to my old man because he is completely wrong. I am my own person and I should get to choose what I want to do. Life isn't fun if other people control it for you. Plus, who would even want their future planned out for yourself if it makes you unhappy?
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I have had few experience. All I have to say is be with a group of people you know, carry pepper spray or some sort of self defense thing and try to keep an eye out for anyone suspicious and don't be scared to get security or to get with a group.
