There was no specific criticism I received, rather I felt that my lack of connections in the industry as I was developing my career was seen as a disadvantage. In short, I wasn't from the right side of the tracks & therefore felt I was judged harder.
How I responded:
It comes to a combination of being curious and wanting to learn, yet being believing in your own judgement. I realize that I need to learn new things in order to grow. It is the third to grow and understand that has keep me energized.
