Find people with common interests who have experience in your desired field and network to make connections with them. Getting to know these people will help you feel more comfortable and they can give you valuable advice from their personal experiences.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
When I began my career, I was overwhelmed and worried that I would look ignorant because of my limited exposure to the business world. Having the courage and confidence to admit what you don't know and ask questions leads to better outcomes.
