Life & Career Milestones

I've taken a lot of twists and turns

  • 1.

My first job was a cashier job at a local craft store. This taught me good people skills.

  • 2.

My second job was an Utility pole preservationist. This job taught me grit and determination. It was a very physical job out in the elements.

  • 3.

My third job was a housekeeping manager for a resort hotel cleaning business. This job had me traveling all over the US to set up housekeeping for time share resorts. I had to adapt to each new area.

  • 4.

My fourth job was milking 165 dairy cows, by myself, two times a day. This job awoke my true path!

  • 5.

My fifth job is the one I am currently at. This job is my life and my passion. It has inspired me to further my education so I can build a future with my experience her. It has been my job for 14 year

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Family:

Farm work is very physical and you will regret the toll it will take on your body when you are older.

  • How I responded:

I took it as a challenge! Yes my job is very physically demanding, but nothing some advil won't fix! I Love what I do and that motivates me to continue my path. I work with animals and they need me for their care and medical needs. I have since proven my family wrong ( have been at this job 14 years). Perseverance, passion, and dedication will get you everywhere you want to be. Never give up on your dreams because someone else doesn't agree with it! It is your dream and your life! Live it!!!!!!!
