How I responded:
I may not make as much as others, but I go to work everyday knowing that I'm making a difference in a student's life. To me, that's priceless and what I focus most on when I find myself comparing my paycheck to others'.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
When I decided the career path I was following was not longer for me. It was scary to not know how to move forward without that destination in mind. I looked within to see what my interests were and how I could build a career around that.
