My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Started working for a Credit Union as a teller.

Obtained another job working as a teller as well with another institution.
3.
Received a promotion to a relationship banker, which involves helping people with their finances.
4.
Wanted to do more than helping people with bank accts and I transitioned into a mtg ln officer role.
5.
Learned about different programs and worked with different clients. They high end and lMI clients.
6.
Discovered a passion for helping the underserved community LMI and obtained a job in Community Mtg.

How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
There is no money helping the LMI community. Their loans take a long time to close.
How I responded:
I did research and found an institution who truly stands for what they believe and I found Capital One. At Capital One we are compensated for helping the under served and we have a unique group of people that manage our department and we all have the same objectives.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
One of the challenges is work, life, balance. Thankfully, I learned to manage this area of my life and it has helped me be more successful in my career.
