Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Friends:
I did not allow negative "noise" bring me down. I focused on the positive and tried not to get discouraged. I was told once: You are too young to get that position.
How I responded:
I tell people that nothing is final. Go out and try something new. Get out of your comfort zone. You will be amazed at what you can do. You be amazed how resilient you are. If it does not work out, it is okay. Try something else...But try.
