Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
A professor in college told me I would never graduate.
How I responded:
I decided that very moment when I was told I would not graduate, that I WILL graduate and I WILL go on to do wonderful things in my life and give back to society as a way of thanking everyone who helped me get to where I was.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
My parents did not have the money for me to go to college so I signed up for grants and financial aid so I could go. Once I got to college, I got a job to help support myself. I made it and so can you!
