My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
I found an old film camera with an accordion and I was intrigued.
2.
A year after I had the opportunity in my school to take a photography class.
3.
For the first time I got into a dark room and developed and printed my own film and photos!!!
4.
I started winning school photo competitions.
5.
I knew then I would study photography and be a photographer.
6.
I got admitted to the university I wanted in order to study photography.
7.
I started several projects by myself and with my colleagues.
8.
Those paid off and now I am a professional photographer.

How I responded:
I knew that I could never be anything else but a photographer so I went ahead and followed my path against my family's wishes. My passion and determination about my carrier choice was so strong that they were convinced by me and changed their minds. Now my family is proud of me and they admit they were wrong.
