Day In The Life Of An Insurance Broker For Outdoor Recreation Companies

My Day to Day

On a daily basis, I help insurance agents place risks that are harder to place. I get to work usually around 7 am and I spend my morning checking and responding to emails. I go to a lot of meetings about policy renewals, I take phone calls from prospective clients, and keep in touch with current clients in order to increase our business.

Skills & Education

Advice for getting started

I didn't really overcome this, it evolved into an understanding. I eventually realized that working on the farm was not going to provide the kind of life I wanted to live. That's when I started exploring other options and figuring out how I could combine aspects of that life into a career I loved.

Here's the path I took:

  • High School

  • Associate's Degree

    Business/Commerce, General

    Salt Lake Community College
